Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

The following is a list of people who inspire or influence my art on a daily basis. This is not a list of my "Top artists" or anything like that.

- Chris is a good friend and even better artist. If there is only one gallery you visit today, make it his.

- Jim is my favorite colorist in the business. His colors and digital inks are not only a great inspiration but also bring any drawing to life tenfold.

- Sean is one of my biggest influences, designer of the new Spectacular Spider-Man animated series and all around good guy. I hope y'all dig.

- "Chamba" is the master of perspective and foreshortening.

- A single frame of "Bastion" is enough to power my creativity for days.

- Javier's style is unique and recognizable. He can grab any image, of any character and just bring it to life with his own twist while still staying true and faithful to the source material. Visit his gallery, you will not regret it.

- I have learned a lot from Brett, and continue to. His cartoons are fantastic and to this day I am thankful to him for being the one guy who bothered narrating his ImagineFX video tutorial!

- Maybe you don't know Mark by name; but you have definitely seen his work around. One of those guys who deserves his success.

- Unbelievable WoW art, I strive to one day be as great as he is designing and painting high fantasy armor and characters. His collection of brushes is a constant go-to in my painting arsenal.

- Drew's drawings are full of detail, I don't know how long he spends on each drawing; but his lush landscapes could keep an inker or colorist busy for days!

- Charlie's a constant source of inspiration with her beautifully rendered paintings. She's a master at drawing female faces, her expressions are unequaled. The patience she exhibits rendering her paintings is both endearing and inspiring.

- Mike is a testament that every artist is immortalized through his art. Mike was an exceptionally good artist, but his friends will always remember him as an even better friend and human being.

I encourage you to go through my friends list; I realize it's quite extensive but everyone in that list is unbelievably talented and has a unique style I think you'd enjoy.
